by Alex Gross
Don’t walk away from me.
I’m trying to talk to you.
I know what you’re feeling,
But I don’t know what is
Going on in your head.
Please tell me.
It’s obvious I’ve upset you,
So don’t pretend I haven’t.
I know you well enough
To know when you’re lying.
If you don’t tell me what
It was that I did,
I can’t change it.
So tell me.

A few random poems:
- To Him that was Crucified. by Walt Whitman
- Николай Гумилев – Зараза
- Robert Burns: The Poet’s Reply To The Threat Of A Censorious Critic: My imprudent lines were answered, very petulantly, by somebody, I believe, a Rev. Mr. Hamilton. In a MS., where I met the answer, I wrote below:-
- The Starlight Night poem – Gerard Manley Hopkins poems
- On A Good Man (From The Greek) by William Cowper
- Sonnet 15 poem – John Milton poems
- You must once
- A CANTICLE TO APOLLO by Robert Herrick
- Вера Павлова – В ранец тетрадки собраны
- Николай Карамзин – Соловей, галки и вороны
- Robert Burns: Elegy On “Stella”: The following poem is the work of some hapless son of the Muses who deserved a better fate. There is a great deal of “The voice of Cona” in his solitary, mournful notes; and had the sentiments been clothed in Shenstone’s language, they would have been no discredit even to that elegant poet.-R.B.
- Inscriptions Written with a Slate Pencil upon a Stone by William Wordsworth
- At The Tomb Of Napoleon
- The King by Michael Yuan
- To the City of London by William Dunbar
