La soledad del monte me recuerda tu ausencia.
Humea en espirales un tronco entre las llamas
como cuando seguiste las oscuras gaviotas
por caminos que el tiempo fue flechando con alas.
No quise detenerte, como tampoco al humo,
como tampoco al canto doloroso del grillo.
Mi mano de abanico se agitó en la tristeza
como el sol que atravieza presuroso los pinos.
Aquí mi amor tenía para tí una morada
humilde como playa, tibia como capullo.
Era donde amasamos el pan de las jornadas
y por las noches eran mis labios sólo tuyos.
No quise detenerte ni quisiste dejarme.
Como nube de otoño te ví partir sin rumbo.
Crepitaba tu adiós como en estas fogatas
crepitan mis recuerdos y luego se hacen humo.
