Standing before your picture
which adorns my shrine
for once remembering not
the first commandment,
My eyes not raised up to heaven
rather looking straight at your image
right before my gaze
which has always encouraged me.
To you through your love
I long for salvation
for all your hitherto care
a saviour I thought for me.
Yielding to this temptation
earlier hypnotized by you
myself at you I throw
to do you homage.
